Sweet Suite

Matt and I went to our first Milwaukee Bucks game this week with his residency group.  We had a great time relaxing with out the kiddos and enjoyed the free food, plus you just cant beat the view from a suite!  I'm really going to miss these Froedtert perks when we move in two years.

The post where I get to brag about my awesome vacation...

Here we are at the Masters in Augusta Georgia.  It was AMAZING!
Me and Grandma T sporting the curlie-do.  Plenty of humidity to go around.  It got a little cold in the morning so we had to go get matching Masters jackets.  (Any excuse to go shopping :)
I thought the reflection in the water looked like a Monet painting.

The next day we went to Stone Mountain in Atlanta.  It was a beautiful day

Me and my sweet.  This was our first vacation with out the kids.  It was so nice to have that time together.
 Grandma Tina and Papa Phil
There was even a group of Tibetan Monks vacationing at Stone Mountain with us.

More from the Lady Lounge

I made this outfit with the intention of it fitting Hazel... this year, not in two from now.  The pattern was for 12-18 months!  Maybe if you had a 35lb baby!
A Stegosaurus stuffed animal in the works
I made this one a while back but I haven't posted it yet.  I'm so in love with this dress.  Can't wait for it to fit her next year.
 An apron for me :)
Nautical dress for the 4th of July.  Need to add some finishing touches and hem the bottom.
Children's messenger bag made from European Linen and lined with bright yellow flowers.  Wish I had made it adult sized.

Here's what's new in my world...

I was doing dishes this morning and Hazel was at my feet being very well behaved... sort of.  I turned around to wipe my hands and pick her up and realized that she had wiggles her little fingers past the the child proof cupboard and pulled out a Delta Biscotti package.  The then devoured it, plastic and all.
She ate right though the packaging!
She was quite pleased with herself as you can see.

And here is what has been happening in my lady lounge.  My mom brought me a whole suitcase of vintage fabric (circa 1980) so I have been experimenting with clothing making.  I made Hazel this "little old lady party-cardi" as I like to call it.

...and these pigtails... to die for!
Here is my first attempt at a shirt for me.  Not to shabby.
I quite like the gathering on the shoulders.  Still need to finish off the sleeves.
...and the neck line... it's round.  How about that!

Happy Easter!

Happy Easter!  We had a fun filled Easter Egg Hunt with the Anderson Family yesterday.  Beautiful weather and happy babies.

 Baby Sonja chillin' with daddy
 The best of buds
Oliver helped Hazel open her Easter eggs.  What a good big brother.

 Mister Drake

This morning Oliver and Hazel got their Easter baskets.  Having children makes Holidays fun again.  There is nothing better than seeing their happy faces light up the room.
Hazel loved her Cabbage Patch Sheep.
 Hazel LOVED the chocolate bunny

 Yummmmm
