So I can tell you from personal experience that we never saw our mom as being ill. We did recognize that she had some challenges like running. There were times that someone else in the community would ask me why she can't turn her neck and I'd just say that it was because she has Rheumatoid Arthritis. so I knew she had it, but I never noticed she couldn't turn her head till someone pointed it out. We never saw her as weak or ill. It wasn't till now that I'm an adult that I realize all the pain she must have had and how hard it was for her to try and live that "normal" life. But as kids she was mom, the person who took care of us and made dinner for us etc... I guess what I'm trying to say is that your kids won't see you as ill. They see you as mom and not a sick person who can't decorate a cake with fondant this time because of a flare up. When they grow up they'll realize the impact of what you struggled with during their growing up years they will have nothing but love and appreciation for the sacrifices you make everyday and every moment of that day. You are amazing and I hope you come live by me. (p.s. I know a few people who moved here because the climate is so mild it helps them with their illness and get it into remission.... I'm just saying :)
Love you, and hang in there. Remember they don't see what you can't do, they see what you are doing.

MaryMary Kendallhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08346474797550191613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488129019646544663.post-24415915494210968562013-02-10T00:48:42.529-06:002013-02-10T00:48:42.529-06:00Thank you for sharing this with the world. Your home is always immaculate. Your kids are well cared for. You are always an amazing person, kind and thoughtful. God had to slow you down so that you didn't make the rest of us look pathetic. I feel for those who suffer with chronic illness, your strength is impressive to me. From what I've seen you are a pretty fabulous mom (fondant or no fondant). Not to mention your kids are beyond cute! Thanks for the sweet post.Marybethhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03672030324704212379noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5488129019646544663.post-66867015744264439822013-02-09T12:35:17.664-06:002013-02-09T12:35:17.664-06:00That is a beautiful picture of you (all of them ac...That is a beautiful picture of you (all of them actually). I am NOT a sexy pregnant lady. Dave still thinks I'm hot, but he loves me, so of course he does. :D You are amazing! Lupus sounds like a real burden to deal with, but it looks like you're handling it like a champ. Being a mom is just amazing. Not all joyful, but a fabulous growing experience in so many respects.Raree (RAH-ree)https://www.blogger.com/profile/15369660765312878949noreply@blogger.com
